Page numbering, 

choose the A-master pages and insert the special characters. The page numbers will automatically be added to all of the pages.

2 - up saddle stitch, is ensures there are two pages on a single side. It also is the appropriate binding.

  

Print blank pages, if I have blank pages in my document that I want printing then I must click this. Otherwise InDesign will automatically delete them.
