Image, colour variations

I rearranged each of the doors, so they matched an eye chart a bit more. I also prefer it more squished, it relates a little more to my theme (doors) and also looks more structured.
Experimenting with colours, I will hopefully print just black onto the appropriate colour stock. I don't want to use a large amount of colour ink, I think using a colour stock has a nicer, cleaner finish.

Title sequence? - what channel?

I had thought channel 4, but thinking about my subject it might be more suited for a more... spontaneous channel? Something like MTV or E4? Those two channels seem a bit more... youthful, bit more random. The subject is a bit outrages, and might not be suited to such a serious channel as channel 4. Also, the Idents and promotional material  for E4 are more flamboyant which might support my title sequence better.

Animation content (text)

Top 10 dare devils
Gliders
Jumpers
Human spiders
Men on wire

Should I have extra information like, "They have no limits" or is that a bit cheesy?
Dates of when it will be showing? What time it will be on?

I also like this font,
'Orator st'

Storyboard, using the illustrations

Storyboard all together. Problems to sort:
- Start quicker, too much happens towards the end
- Test out whether car and motorbike should be separated or animate together
- Should canvas be blank at the end? All characters disappear( if so, how? get smaller? fade?)

The text will appear as the character/object moves, so it won't be as sudden as the storyboard suggests. I'm not sure about the text content, I don't want too much type, I am happy with what is on this storyboard, although I will reconsider the order of it and might add more information. Should 'Top 10 dare devils' be at the end? I will also test out different fonts and sizes, although I know I want to go with sans serif and not that big, and also black, for clarity.

Image, as we get older...

This the first idea I had in mind, I haven't done any variations of it because I did want it to be quite simple. I have blurred each letterform individually so the transition is quite smooth.

Image, the cat doesn't speak English

I didn't really like any of these first experiments for this quote. I saw a piece of work on 'fffound', that had a transparent circle then type overlaying it. I also was thinking about the context that this design was surrounding, it didn't really make much sense of relate to anything. I wanted to try and link it with the content of the text, so I thought about using the circle as a ball of string. These were some of my outcomes, experimenting with colour/type and layout.

I'm not sure whether the circle should be smaller and not take up too much room, the string looks a little off place when the circle is too big. Also I don't know whether to include the small translation at the bottom or not, it's only purpose really is to balance out the design a bit. Should 'felino' be in a darker colour?

I like the blue, I think it compliments the yellow well. I got rid of the text at the bottom, felt it was a bit unnecessary.
