I quite like this final image, I feel the article is quite hard to illustrate, so I just blended a bit of maths (shapes) and a relationship symbol (hearts), and then the 'Facebook' logo on them. The article very much speaks for itself, I didn't think a detailed illustration/photograph would aid it's communication. I feel this shape compliments it...sort of. I suppose it could attract viewers to the small article and then they can interperate the image as they wish.
